Hello loves, let's talk : )

KACY ANNE

Hello Loves, I’m Kacy Anne! I am a mother, counselor, educator, lover of hot yoga, aesthetic organizer, aspiring freelance writer & barre instructor, advocate for self-love and improvement, born conversationalist as well as a phenomenal chef, interior designer, and fashionista, despite what my children will tell you ; )

This year I am on a mission to grow my tribe of supporters and share my journey with anyone who cares to be apart of it. This space is my version of a Sunday evening, rooftop patio gathering with best friends. We share everything and nothing, and manage to revive our spirits and manifest our dreams into existence, all while drinking Sauvignon and sweet tea under the stars. Laughing, crying, praying, dreaming… it’s all apart of the experience; let’s get to talking about everything and nothing at all. Thank you, Loves, for being here.

Hello, loves. Let’s talk about new friends! You know that feeling when you meet another person, and they just completely match your vibe… I’ve received so many gifts in the form of human capital lately and I have to acknowledge this is a major blessing.

Some people just simply light up your life; others blow out your flame. We have no space for candle-blower-outers in this space because you and I are laser-focused on life’s gifts.

So, more on my new friend… Let me preface this by saying that I’ve known this phenom of a woman for, like, a very short amount of time; very short. Anyhow, we were having an entirely random conversation, which I was fully enjoying; the type of conversation where you are literally DYING from laughter… sound effects, impressions, reenactments; the whole nine yards!

All of a sudden, the tone shifted. All of a sudden the conversation got very real and very deep. She started to share a VERY personal moment with me… I am always genuinely honored to be gifted another human’s raw and unfiltered authenticity. She started to tear up and then apologized, saying, “I’m so sorry, I didn’t know this reaction was going to happen. I have this one friend who tells me ‘This is the stuff you keep to yourself!’” She tried shifting away from that moment, and my response was basically, “Hell no!”

Loves!!! We have got to stop holding it all in; we have got to normalize that lives get crazy and messy and that it is OK to not always be OK. Her ability to be vulnerable allowed be to be vulnerable and for a minute, we were vulnerable messes together and it felt so GOOD!

We had our moment, which we honestly both needed, and then we were straight back to our banter; It was so perfect! That moment of genuine connection was priceless. We are human and we NEED connection. Pay close attention and seek out opportunities to connect with other humans. Some people will only be “surface” connections, others will be “deep.” We can appreciate our “surface” connections, but we need the “deep” ones AND don’t forget to be a “deep” one for someone else : ) Love you and stay blessed!

  • Welcome, 2023. So glad you’re here!

Hello there, 2023; I’m so glad to see you! My name is Kacy, and I am stepping into you with open eyes (I’m so proud of myself for not having to write blindly,) and an ambitious heart.  I have hope for us, 2023;  you and I will do great things together, I know it; I have no doubt. 2023, do you know how beautiful it feels to not doubt myself or my purpose or my place in this world? Do you know how beautiful it feels to finally write words that stem from hope, not survival? 2023, it feels damn near euphoric. So, my dearest 2023, right here, on this page, for myself and for anyone else who cares to journey with us, I am setting my intentions for our year and for the many years to come:

This year we are free; free from all people and things that strive to take away our light and dull our brightest dreams. This year we live and we laugh and we love without consequence or hesitation. This year we do not walk on eggshells, we stomp valorously. This year we repair ourselves, and if we’ve broken others, we repair them as well. This year we take care of ourselves and take care of everyone we love; we do not fail ourselves or fail them because we are an absolute force. This year we thrive and find the joy and potential in every single day.  This year we learn and experience so much and our lives will never be the same.

2023, I just met you, but I know I’m going to love you; crazy right? 2023, walk along with me.
